At 14, I founded The Hope Festival, a youth-run nonprofit dedicated to serving those in need across Washington State.
The Hope Festival event itself is a one-stop shop event serving more than 1,000 in-need individuals each year. From food, clothing, and toiletries to haircuts, vaccinations, dental care, and health screenings, we provide comprehensive support to those in-need. We connect guests to long-term support–from mental health and substance use to domestic violence and employment opportunities. Hundreds of inspirational posters cover the walls and 800 handwritten notes are slipped into every family's grocery bag, ensuring every individual leaves feeling a newfound sense of hope.
As Founder & CEO, I've produced nine festivals serving 11,000 individuals, led executive teams totaling 60 youth leaders, and overseen all aspects of the nonprofit's operations. Over the last ten years, we've empowered more than 4,000 youth volunteers, formed partnerships with 250 organizations, donated an additional 45,000 pound of goods to local charities, and raised over $120K in grants and sponsorships. Today, I continue to empower the next generation by creating opportunities for youth to step into leadership roles and provide mentorship to help them make an impact.
Our commitment is to continue making an impact in Seattle and beyond.
